After breakfast, our safari guide will come get you from your lodging. You will travel to Tarangire National Park by car this morning. On smooth tarmac roads, the transit drive takes about two and a half hours. The Tarangire River, which flows through the park, is the source of its name. During the dry season, the sole water supply available to the local wildlife is this "river of warthogs." Elephant families are a well-known feature of the park and are frequently spotted gathering near the river. Giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests might also be spotted. Many predators, including as lions and leopards, closely pursue these creatures. Tarangire is home to the greatest number of bird nesting species worldwide! Here you may view the enormous, old baobab trees. It is believed that some of them have lived for almost a millennium.
There will be a picnic area in the park for lunch. Following your wildlife drive, you will go to your Karatu lodging.
