Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park before lunch. After check-in and a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the alkaline lake and surrounding woodlands. The park is famous for its flamingos, pelicans, and large populations of both black and white rhinos, making it one of Kenya’s best places for rhino sightings.
