Nairobi-Amboseli

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence at 7.00am and depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for a relaxed lunch afterward. Head for your first game drive during the safari, which will occur in the afternoon between 4:00pm and 6:30pm. During this game drive, you will get the final catch of animals while they are out of their hides to get their last meal of the day and sunbathing, especially the reptiles. Kobs and other animals that graze will be assembled for their night’s rest.
Amboseli National Park is also famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants. The park also has views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. The day ends with Dinner and an Overnight stay at Sopa lodge.

Full Day Amboseli National Park

On this day, you will awake to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather permits. You will embark on an early morning game drive as you catch up with the African sunrise. A morning game drive is always the most rewarding since you will find that most animals are very active and fresh, looking for food for the day in the open savannah grassland. Return to the lodge for a delightful breakfast as you take advantage of amenities such as the refreshing swimming pool. Depart for yet another exhilarating game drive after lunch where Mount Kilimanjaro will provide a stunning back-drop for capturing unforgettable photos. During the day when the sun gets hot, most of the animals gather near the river banks to quench their thirst and cool themselves down. A visit to the observation point will offer you a captivating birds-eye view over the wildlife habitat teeming with life below. Your day ends with dinner and accomodation at Sopa lodge.

Embark on your last early morning game drive as you soak in the breathtaking views of Amboseli for one last time.
