Enjoy a full day immersed in the wild landscapes of Samburu National Reserve, starting with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. As the sun rises over the rugged hills, explore the reserve’s open plains and riverbanks, spotting elephants, lions, leopards and the unique Samburu species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and gerenuk. Return to the lodge for breakfast or have breakfast in the bush and some leisure time, followed by lunch and relaxation during the heat of the day. In the late afternoon another game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where animals gather to drink as the day cools. The day ends with a scenic sunset and a return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, wrapped in the calm of the northern wilderness.
