Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or residence, departing for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop for photos.

You arrive in the Masai Mara around midday and check in at your carefully selected mid-range lodge or tented camp, where lunch is served. After time to relax, you head out for your first afternoon game drive.

This introductory drive offers excellent wildlife viewing, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Lions and cheetahs are often spotted as predators become active toward evening. As the sun sets over the savannah, you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding a memorable first day on safari.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you depart for a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. With a packed lunch, you explore different areas of the reserve, increasing your chances of spotting the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and antelope.

Your experienced driver-guide navigates the open plains and riverine areas, where predators are often seen resting or hunting. You enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot within the reserve, surrounded by the vast savannah landscape.

In the late afternoon, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village (optional, at an extra cost) to learn about the Maasai way of life, culture, and traditions. Afterward, you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding a rewarding day in the Masai Mara.

After an early breakfast, you depart the Masai Mara and drive through the scenic Rift Valley landscape toward Lake Nakuru National Park. You arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at your selected mid-range lodge or hotel, followed by a short rest.

In the afternoon, you enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos, diverse birdlife, and thriving population of black and white rhinos. The park also offers excellent chances to spot Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and other plains game against a backdrop of acacia woodland and lake views.

As the day draws to a close, you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, ending the day in a peaceful and scenic setting.
