Your adventure begins with a scenic drive north into Uganda’s wilderness. The first highlight is an immersive stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track endangered rhinos on foot. Guided rangers lead you through bush trails as you stand just meters away from these magnificent giants—a conservation story worth witnessing.

After a tasty lunch at the sanctuary, continue toward Murchison Falls National Park, where sweeping landscapes, riverine forests, and abundant wildlife welcome you. Check in at the lodge, rest, and soak in the tranquillity of the African bush.

Sunrise Game Drive & Evening Boat Safari on the Nile

After a hearty breakfast, set off for a sunrise game drive, the prime time for wildlife encounters. Explore open plains and river valleys where elephants, buffalo, giraffes, Uganda kob, warthogs and hartebeest graze freely—and keep watch for lions, leopards or hyenas. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch and downtime. In the afternoon, board a classic boat safari on the River Nile, cruising past hippos, crocodiles and shoreline animals as you approach the thunderous base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge. Return to the lodge for a calm evening in the wild.

Mini Hike to the Top of the Falls & Leisure at the Lodge

After breakfast, depart for a rewarding mini-hike to the Top of Murchison Falls, offering panoramic viewpoints where the world’s longest river explodes through a 7-metre gap and plunges into a violent rush below—mist, rainbows and outstanding photography included. After this scenic experience, return for lunch and enjoy a relaxed afternoon at Sambiya River Lodge. Spend your time cooling off by the pool, watching wildlife around the property, enjoying nature walks nearby, or simply unwinding in this tranquil wilderness setting before dinner.

Return to Entebbe via Kabalega & Luwero Pineapples

After breakfast, begin your relaxed drive back to Entebbe. Stop for an en-route lunch at Kabalega Dinners, a popular stop for travellers heading from the park. Proceed toward Kampala with a final refreshment stop at the vibrant Luwero Pineapple Market, where Uganda’s sweetest pineapples are served by friendly local farmers. Continue into the city in the afternoon—closing a scenic and wildlife-filled adventure.
