Day 4

Oudshoorn

Start your day with pickup between 06:00 and 08:00 from your hotel and hit the road along Route 62, the world's
longest wine route. Enjoy some stunning views of mountains, valleys, vineyards, stop at a farm stall to
taste local delicacies before reaching Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world and the gateway to the Cango
Caves.
Explore the underground wonders of the caves, a network of limestone chambers with incredible formations and
ancient paintings. Choose between the Heritage Tour, a leisurely walk through the main chambers with great
acoustics and insights from your guide, or the Adventure Tour, a more challenging route that involves crawling and
squeezing through narrow passages.

You can either eat at a restaurant or join an optional outdoor braai – subject to availability - where you can try local specialties like ostrich kebabs, 'boerewors' sausage, 'potbrood' (bread) & salad.

You will stay in a luxurious room at Hlangana Lodge or similar, depending on availability.

Wilderness Adventures

You can start an early morning by joining an optional (own expense) Elephant Observation Nature Bush Walk to
follow and observe three orphaned elephants, rescued from poachers, in a natural habitat.
Later, you'll enjoy a relaxing canoe ride along the reed-lined riverbanks in Wilderness and observe the variety of birds in the area.
The adventure reaches its peak at Bloukrans Bridge, the world's highest commercial bridge bungy jump where you
might dare to plunge 216m down with nothing but an elastic cord (at own expense). If you're not up for the bungy
jump, you can take a leisurely walk near the bridge in nature.

Spend the evening in Wilderness, where you can dine at local restaurants.

You will overnight in a charming room at the beachfront Dolphin Dunes in Wilderness or similar accommodation, depending on availability.

Experience a 4x4 safari in a malaria-free private game reserve, where you can see giraffe, white rhino, kudu, lion,
elephant, zebra, wildebeest and more. An experienced game ranger will guide you on the safari and on a short ±5
min bush walk, where you can get closer to nature and learn about the wildlife, plants and tracks.

Enjoy the scenic drive through the Garden Route as you return to your hotel in Cape Town.
You will arrive by late afternoon or early evening (between 17:00 and 21:00 depending on traffic).

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be transferred directly to Cape Town International for your flight at 08:00 to Kruger
Mpumalanga Airport, arriving at 10:20.
On arrival, you will be transferred to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge, you will be welcomed by friendly staff and shown to your
luxury suite.
After settling in and relaxing, you will hop on an open safari vehicle and depart on your first game drive in the reserve, where you will encounter amazing wildlife and nature.

You will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a cozy night in your suite.
