Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your mid-range lodge in Arusha. The drive offers your first views of Tanzania’s landscapes, with Mount Meru often visible on clear days. After check-in, enjoy time to relax after your international journey, unwind in the lodge gardens, or take in the surrounding scenery. Later, your guide will provide a comprehensive safari briefing, explaining the route, wildlife expectations, and safety guidelines for the days ahead. Dinner is served at the lodge, allowing you to enjoy local and international cuisine while preparing for the adventure to come.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife year-round. Spend the day exploring the park’s varied habitats while spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and numerous bird species. Your guide will position the vehicle for excellent wildlife viewing and photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature. Following breakfast, journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through scenic countryside and vast open plains. As you enter the Serengeti, wildlife sightings begin almost immediately, with grazing herds and predators often visible near the tracks. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the endless savannah, famous for its rich wildlife density. Look out for lions resting on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, leopards in acacia trees, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra.
