Day 02- 0830am Pick up; Many South Africans gave much, some gave all, to achieve a truly democratic South Africa through pain and struggle of those heroes; experience the diverse museums where these momentous, tumultuous years have been so well documented.
Our next stop is the Hector Pieterson Museum, before travelling past Mandela House, where you have the option of visiting this small museum (own account).

We then continue our journey driving past the affluent suburb of Diepkloof, which is in stark contrast to the lower income areas seen earlier in the day, en-route to the iconic Apartheid Museum. it is a fascinating tour, filled with tales of bravery and sadness, but ultimately, it’s a story with the right ending.

-300pm pick up for a tour of Swakopmund, the coastal town with a historic influence of erman colonial history, ocean view, desert landscape, the lighthouse, old German architecture, optional adventure activity such as quid biking, sandboarding, or a scenic flight

The Swakopmund town’s history starts with the landing of the Portuguese sailor Bartholomew Diaz on Namibian soil at Cape Cross in the year 1487 where he erected a stone cross. Much later, in 1793, two Dutch sailors were anchoring shortly at the mouth of the Swakop River. In 1862 the crew of a German gunboat hoisted the German flag at the mouth of the Swakop River to signal the territories occupancy.

Our half day afternoon Sandwich Harbour 4x4 Excursion starts every day at 12h30 until 16h30
On the way to the Sandwich Harbour Area, we stop at the Lagoon to enjoy the flamingoes, before we head towards the Kuiseb River Delta via the Walvis Bay Saltpans. Depending on the tides and the swell, we will try to reach the Sandwich Harbour Lagoon along the beach. Alternatively, we will take an exciting dune ride to our lookout dune to get an aerial view of the Sandwich Harbour Lagoon.
We stop along the way to enjoy our world famous oysters, sparkling wine, snacks, coffee and tea. Depending on the weather condition, we do this on top of a high dune overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, on the beach, or amongst the dunes.
The highlight being the 65m high roaring Dune, giving you exceptional viewpoints

The Skeleton Coast Cape Cross Seal Colony Half Day Tour commends at 08H30 and ends roughly at about 13H00
This tour takes you north of Swakopmund up the Northern Coast, known as the Skeleton Coast of Namibia to the Cape Cross Seal Colony where you will find and see thousands of Cape Fur Seals.
This tour also takes you to where Diego Cao a Portuguese Explorer planted a stone cross. One of the most notable explorers of the fifteenth century. Born in 1452 and died in 1486 at the Cape Cross Seal Reserve.
Along the way we stop at the Zeila Shipwreck, Lichen Plains, small Salt Mines and also pass-through small Namibian settlements along the coast. The 50 000 strong Cape Fur Seals awaits you.
We get close, you will hear them, smell them and you will almost be able to touch them.
A small lunch with local beverages is then served along a remote desert site (on own account)
We will then take the same route back to Swakopmund.

The Khwai area lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. Khwai Community Area has unfenced boundaries allowing wildlife to move freely. The Khwai area offers the same wildlife experience as the Moremi Game Reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession, which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives.
