From Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its impressive elephant families, scenic savannahs, towering baobab trees, and the life-sustaining Tarangire River. Animals gather here to cool off and drink during the heat of the day. The park is home to giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest, with lions and leopards frequently nearby. Game viewing from the open-roof safari vehicle offers excellent photo opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before driving to Ikumbi Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive through the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro highlands

You will depart before dawn for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active, and enjoy the unforgettable sight of the African sun rising over the plains. After returning to camp for breakfast and check-out, you will pass by Ngorongoro Highlands. This immense caldera supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world, including nearly all East African species and the rare black rhino. The crater features rivers, swamps, a soda lake, forested areas, and open grasslands, and is famous for its large-tusked elephants nourished by mineral-rich volcanic soils. Lunch will be enjoyed during this remarkable game drive.

Following an early breakfast, you will check out and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater for your last safari experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before climbing back to the rim and driving to Arusha, where your safari concludes in the late afternoon.
