Zanzibar - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar (pick-up time will depend on your hotel's location) and take you to the airport for an 8:00am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport at 9:15am, your personal driver-guide will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.
Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape. During our game drive, we could be lucky enough to see elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and various antelope species such as eland, kudu, impala, and oryx. It is also an excellent place for birdlife, with over 500 bird species recorded.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy our lunch inside the park and continue our game drive until 4:00pm. You will then be taken to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater - Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00am we will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and is when wildlife is most active.
Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and black rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.
Your game drive will end in the afternoon, allowing for a convenient transfer back to Arusha Airport for your 4:30pm flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our driver will take you back to your hotel in Zanzibar.
