Your safari adventure begins today with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, where you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide before departing for an exciting game drive in Arusha National Park. The park is known for its beautiful landscapes, lush forests, Momella Lakes and abundant wildlife including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys and a variety of bird species. You will also enjoy stunning views of Mount Meru and, on clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park before returning to Arusha for a guided city tour. Alternatively, you may choose to have snacks inside the park and enjoy lunch in Arusha before the city tour begins.

During the tour, you will explore local markets, cultural sites and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city. After this, you will be transferred to Forest Hill Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Northern Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The drive will take you through scenic countryside, local villages and open landscapes.

Upon entering the park, you will begin an exciting game drive in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and many other animals that roam freely throughout the area. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds and the Tarangire River, a permanent water source that attracts wildlife year-round. The park is also home to a rich variety of bird species, making it an excellent destination for bird lovers.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park surrounded by nature before continuing with an afternoon game drive to explore more or Taranigre’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife. Later in the day, you will head to Bougainvillea Safari Lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

You will start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive inside one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Often referred to as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife and offers some of the best game-viewing opportunities in Tanzania.

Upon descending into the crater, you will explore its diverse landscapes, including open grasslands, swamps, forests and soda lakes, while searching for animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, hyenas and many other species. The crater is also one of the few places in Tanzania where you have the chance to spot the endangered black rhino.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot inside the crater surrounded by breathtaking views and wildlife. After further game viewing in the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
