After an early morning game drives depart Nakuru in the morning and drive to Lake Naivasha, a scenic 2–3 hour drive. Upon arrival, take a boat ride on the lake to spot hippos, fish eagles, and a variety of waterbirds. After the boat ride, explore the nearby Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. In the late afternoon, head to Hell’s Gate National Park for a short drive and a chance to hike or cycle among the park’s dramatic cliffs, gorges, and geothermal features.
