Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport [JRO] in Arusha. Meet & Greet. Transfer to the Greenside Hotel for an overnight stay.
Arusha City, situated in the northern highlands of Tanzania, lies beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, making it the safari capital of the country. Guests embarking on the popular northern safari circuit all stop here to prepare for their journeys into the African bush. Established by the Germans as a centre for colonial administration in the early 20th century, today Arusha is one of the country’s most prosperous towns and a major centre of Tanzanian diplomacy and international relations – lending it its nickname, the ‘Geneva of Africa’.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Embark on a 2-hour drive southwest of Arusha to Tarangire, a park that is often overshadowed by its famous neighbours, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, but holds its own as a spectacular wildlife gem, offering a classic African safari experience with a unique character. From December to March is a beautiful time to visit Tarangire – with lush landscapes and newborn animals (January – February), and plenty of predator action.
On arrival at the park, immediately commence wildlife viewing, with lunch today taken as a picnic.
In the late afternoon, continue to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara is a scenic and compact park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, offering a surprising variety of ecosystems and wildlife in a relatively small area. From December to March, the park is lush and beautiful. It’s the best time for birding, especially to see large flocks of flamingos on the lake (November – April). It’s also the calving season for many animals (January – February).
On arrival at the park, you will first experience the Lake Manyara Treetop Walkway – a guided walk along a 370m series of suspension bridges 18m off the ground that will provide you a unique birds-eye view of the world around you, while spotting all kinds of butterflies, birds, and monkeys – before the start of your full day of wildlife viewing drive, with lunch today taken as a picnic.

An early rise for breakfast and check out from the lodge, before descending with your safari driver guide 2,000 ft below into the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater to experience a wildlife viewing like no other before.
Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a protected Conservation area – the world’s largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera, often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden” due to its stunning beauty and incredible concentration of wildlife, all year round. From April to mid-June is the Long Wet Season, when the landscape is stunningly green and lush. Unlike other parks, the crater offers fantastic game viewing throughout the year due to resident wildlife populations.
At midday, you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before ascending back to the rim of the crater, to continue to the Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley, made famous by its leopard and lion sightings among the rocky outcrops known as kopjes.

Breakfast and check-out from the camp. Drive to Northern Serengeti with game viewing and picnic lunch en route.
En route, enjoy a unique game viewing opportunity around the Moru Kopjes in southwestern Serengeti, known for the Gong Rock paintings, and which also serves as a critical habitat for the highly endangered black rhino.
Northern Serengeti is more rugged and remote, and the theatre of the dramatic Mara River crossings (July to October), lush, hilly landscape, with acacia woodlands.

An early rise to experience wildlife viewing before sunrise, followed by a leisurely breakfast. Enjoy further mid-morning and late afternoon wildlife viewing with a lunch break at the camp. Optionally, you can set out on a full-day game drive, with picnic lunch, to experience the famous Mara River Crossings.

Visit Jambiani Village on the southeast coast for a guided walking tour that will take you through the streets of this cozy, laid-back, authentic, and friendly village to experience the real life of the locals. Experience the social life and daily activities, and especially the inspiring role of the woman in daily life among the villagers, culture and religion, as well as the positive contributions of tourism to the local socio-economy. Learn the coconut fibre rope-making skills and the seaweed farming, whose many farms dot the coastline and employ over 15,000 locals, mainly women, with Zanzibar producing around 11,000 tons of the global seaweed each year, a large amount of this coming from Jambiani village. Your tour ends with the experience of a truly authentic taste of the local Zanzibar cuisine in the home of one of the locals.
Continue to Michamvi Kae Beach for a golden sundowner hour, while in fun, friendly, and cool company and tasteful DJ music.

Michamvi Beach is a beautiful and serene destination on the east coast, known for its stunningly spectacular postcard-perfect sunsets and relaxed atmosphere - a perfect choice for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful escape with pristine, uncrowded shores.
Michamvi is a peninsula and is divided into two main sections – the more secluded Michamvi Kae and the slightly more developed Michamvi Pingwe, also home to the iconic Rock Restaurant. Not a party destination.
Today you will enjoy a leisurely day at the resort’s fully equipped gym, relaxing by the swimming pool, or on the beach.
You could also choose (at extra cost) some of the other top activities – snorkeling and scuba diving at Blue Lagoon; long, wild beaches perfect for walks at low tide to explore the exposed sand flats and tidal pools teeming with starfish, crabs, and other marine life; and dhow boat trips. There are limited shops, a few beachfront restaurants.
