Lake natron

Day Two begins with an early departure from Arusha to Lake Natron, a remarkable destination known for its stunning landscapes and cultural significance. Upon arrival, you will explore the lake’s unique ecosystem, home to thousands of flamingos that create breathtaking natural displays. You will also enjoy spectacular views of Mount Lengai, the sacred volcano of the Maasai people. Along the way, you will have opportunities to engage with local Maasai communities, learning about their traditions, cattle herding practices, and daily life. In the evening, you will arrive at Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night immersed in the serene and culturally rich surroundings of the Natron region.

Day Three begins with your departure from Lake Natron to Mto wa Mbu, where you will stay overnight at Migombani Camp. You will take part in a hands-on traditional cooking class with local families, learning about indigenous ingredients, preparation methods, and the cultural significance of food in daily life. Lake eyasi

Day Four begins with an early morning departure after breakfast at Migombani Camp, as you head to Lake Eyasi for a full day of cultural exploration. Upon arrival, you will spend the day with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, gaining firsthand insight into their traditional ways of life. With the Hadzabe, you will observe and participate in hunter-gatherer activities, including traditional hunting methods, gathering techniques, and survival skills passed down through generations. With the Datoga, you will learn about their pastoral lifestyle, craftsmanship, and blacksmithing traditions. Throughout the day, you will also explore the surrounding landscapes and interact with local communities, experiencing the daily rhythms of life in the Eyasi Basin. In the evening, you will arrive at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquil natural and cultural setting.

Upon arrival in Arusha, the safari concludes with a transfer to your hotel or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport if you are continuing your journey.
