Drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi Town early in the morning and transferred to Arusha, where you will enjoy a hearty breakfast to prepare for the day’s adventure.

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Tarangire National Park, a park renowned for its vast elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. Upon arrival, your game drive will begin, allowing you to explore the park’s open plains, riverine forests, and scenic landscapes while spotting wildlife in their natural habitat.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, giving you time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In the late afternoon, you will depart Tarangire and drive to Karatu, where you will check in at a comfortable mid-range lodge. Here, you can enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, resting after a full day of unforgettable wildlife experiences.

Game Drive to Ngorongoro and Return to Moshi

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Tanzania’s most breathtaking natural landscapes. Upon arrival, you will stop at the crater rim to enjoy panoramic views of the vast crater floor below.

You will then descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Here, you may spot lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and the critically endangered black rhinoceros, as well as flocks of flamingos near the soda lake.

A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the crater. After your game drive, you will ascend the crater and begin your return journey, where you will be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi.
