Mt Meru Hiking

On your first day, you will be transferred to Momella Gate for registration and a briefing with the park ranger and mountain guide. The hike begins through lush montane forest, where wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and monkeys may be seen. You will trek to Miriakamba Hut and then continue to Saddle Hut, with an optional acclimatisation hike to Little Meru. An early-morning summit attempt takes you along the crater rim past Rhino Point to Socialist Peak (4,566 m), offering stunning sunrise views and panoramas of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After descending via Saddle Hut, you will return to Miriakamba Hut and finally hike down to Momella Gate, receive your climbing certificate, and transfer back to Arusha for an overnight at Summit Lodge.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife. You will enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch before continuing to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early breakfast, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This unique ecosystem offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend and return to Summit Lodge for dinner and overnight.
