Upon arrival in Maun in the afternoon, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide and transferred to your lodge or hotel in Maun for check in. You will receive a short briefing about the journey ahead, including highlights of the Okavango Delta and surrounding areas, followed by a visit to the Maun Museum to learn about Botswana’s history, wildlife, and traditional art. For an unforgettable experience, you may choose an optional scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, offering aerial views of the Delta’s winding waterways, floodplains, and flat landscapes, and the chance to spot wildlife from above.

Maun - Kalahari Game Reserve

The open plains and river valleys are excellent for tracking desert-adapted leopards, lions, cheetahs, and brown hyena. You will go on morning and afternoon game drives and have the option of partaking in a cultural tour as well. Your overnight stay will be at a mobile camp in the Central Kalahari. Kalahari Game Reserve - Maun

We will make our way out of the reserve enjoying a game drive en route, returning to Maun for restocking and overnight. Your accommodations will be at lodge or hotel in the Maun area, arranged by the tour operator. You may visit the Maun Museum and cultural villages or take an optional scenic Helicopter over the Okavango Delta.
