Flight from Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning at 6:00 AM—though the exact pickup time may vary depending on your hotel location—our driver will transfer you to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. After landing at 9:15 AM, your driver-guide will take you to Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive takes approximately an hour and a half from Arusha, passing through the heart of Tanzania’s stunning landscapes.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and large elephant populations. Its varied landscapes range from seasonal swamps to open savannah, with the Tarangire River flowing through the park. You might witness a lion stalking its prey or spot leopards lounging in the branches above.

In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy your packed lunch inside the park.

By 4:00 PM, your game drive will come to an end, and you’ll return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer by Air to Zanzibar

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an exciting game drive.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for both its natural beauty and cultural significance. As you descend into the crater, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and black rhinos—along with a variety of birds, including flamingos in the crater’s lakes, and experience the stunning natural scenery. Wildlife sightings can happen in an instant, so stay alert!

In the afternoon, you’ll head to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our guide will be ready to transfer you to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
