Kick off your day with breakfast around 6:30 AM, then get ready for a 6 to 7-hour road trip from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park. The drive is a treat, passing through Chalinze and Morogoro, offering up some seriously beautiful Tanzanian scenery. Lunch will be served en route to keep your energy up! Once you arrive at Mikumi, take a quick breather at the Camp before jumping into a 1 to 2-hour Maasai Cultural tour – a great chance to dive into local culture. Following breakfast, you'll head to Ruaha National Park, renowned for its rare sable and roan antelopes and large elephant herds. Ruaha is part of a vast ecosystem, encompassing the Rungwa and Usangu Game Reserves, among other protected areas. The park sits at the boundary of East and Southern Africa's ecosystems.

It's believed to have one of the highest concentrations of elephants in East Africa. It's also a haven for endangered wild dogs. You can also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, elands, impalas, bat-eared foxes, and jackals.
