Transfer to Nyerere NP & Full-Day Game Drive

Your day begins with a hotel pick-up in Zanzibar and a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. On arrival at the airstrip, your guide will welcome you and give a short briefing about the day’s safari. From there, you begin your game drive, exploring the park’s open plains and river areas. Breakfast is served inside the park before you continue your wildlife viewing, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, buffalo, and many other animals. Around midday, you will stop for a picnic lunch, then continue with an afternoon game drive, covering new areas as animals become more active later in the day. At around 5:00 pm, you'll exit the park and head to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive & Sunset Boat Safari

At 7:00 am, you will be picked up from their lodge by their professional guide and depart for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. The morning and early afternoon will be spent exploring the park, with excellent chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.

At around 3:00 pm, you will exit the park and transfer to the river for a sunset boat safari. The boat safari will begin at approximately 4:00 pm and offers a relaxed way to observe wildlife along the riverbanks, including hippos, crocodiles, and birds, while enjoying the changing colors of the sunset.

After the boat safari, you will be driven back to their lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Flight to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you'll check out from the lodge and head to the airstrip to board your 7:00 am flight back to Zanzibar. When you land in Zanzibar, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, where your safari with us ends.
