Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

The safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving south towards Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic views along the way as you head into one of Kenya’s most iconic parks, renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Drinking water will be provided during the journey to ensure comfort throughout the day. In the evening, arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, where dinner will be served and the day concludes with an overnight stay at the lodge.

Game Drive at Amboseli National Park

The day is spent exploring Amboseli National Park on a full-day game drive. After breakfast at the lodge, set out into the park in search of its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and a wide variety of bird species, all set against the impressive backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy the expansive savannahs, swamps, and open plains that make Amboseli unique. Lunch and dinner will be served at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, with time to relax at the lodge in between game viewing activities. An overnight stay at the lodge concludes the day.

Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, depart Amboseli National Park and travel north towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey offers scenic views of the Great Rift Valley landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in the park, known for its rich birdlife, including flamingos, as well as rhinos, lions, and other wildlife species. Lunch will be taken at the lodge, followed by time to relax after the afternoon game viewing. Dinner will be served at the lodge, where the day ends with an overnight stay near Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve on a full-day game drive.
