Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading north through Kenya’s scenic central highlands. As you travel, enjoy changing landscapes from lush farmlands to the dramatic semi-arid beauty of northern Kenya, with clear views of Mount Kenya on a bright day. You will cross the equator en route, a memorable highlight before continuing toward Samburu National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge or luxury tented camp in time for a warm welcome and a freshly prepared lunch. After some time to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings along the Ewaso Nyiro River, set out for your first exciting afternoon game drive. Samburu’s rugged terrain and riverine forests create the perfect setting to encounter elephants, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, and possibly lions or leopards preparing for the evening hunt.
