Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, depending on your arrival time.
If time allows, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional Arusha city tour, exploring local markets, cultural sites, and everyday life in this vibrant safari town. This is a relaxed day designed to help you settle in and prepare for your safari adventure.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Tarangire National Park (around 2.3hours on good roads). Famous for its huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant birdlife, Tarangire offers an exciting introduction to Tanzanian wildlife. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, spotting giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. Lunch is served at a scenic picnic site, followed by dinner and overnight at your luxury lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Ndutu, a prime location for witnessing the calving season. Spend the day on game drives across the plains, observing wildebeest calves, zebras, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Lunch will be in the park, with more wildlife exploration in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge near Ndutu.

Full Game Drive in Ndutu

Enjoy a full day of safari adventures in Ndutu. Today is dedicated entirely to tracking predator-prey interactions and watching the calving season unfold. Morning and afternoon game drives maximize your chances of seeing newborn wildebeest and the predators that follow them. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Depart early for the Ndutu and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for an exciting game drive inside the crater. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
After completing your game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, you will ascend in the late afternoon and be transferred either to the airport or back to your selected hotel, depending on your travel arrangements, bringing your remarkable safari experience to a perfect end.
