The day begins with an early breakfast at the lodge, followed by departure at approximately 7:30 am for an immersive full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. Explore the park’s vast plains and swamp areas, renowned for large elephant herds and panoramic Mount Kilimanjaro views. Midday, enjoy a hot lunch at the iconic Rock Hill Restaurant, owned by Sopa Lodges and centrally located within the park. Day 3

Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

After a very early breakfast, depart Amboseli and journey north to Lake Naivasha, driving through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a scenic stop at the viewpoint for panoramic photos. Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake formed by ancient volcanic activity, has long been a haven for explorers, fishermen, and abundant wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch at your resort, followed by an hour of relaxation. At 4:30 pm, enjoy a tranquil boat ride on the lake, spotting hippos, fish eagles, pelicans, cormorants, and giraffes grazing along the shores. The drive takes about 2.5 hours, arriving at the park gate where an en-route game drive begins toward the lodge. Expect sightings of white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife, including flamingos. Arrive at the lodge in time for a hot lunch, followed by relaxation until 4:00 pm. The afternoon game drive offers further wildlife encounters before returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
