Start your safari with a scenic flight from Arusha to Ndutu, located between the southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, meet your safari jeep and guide. Spend the afternoon on a game drive around the Ndutu plains, famous for the Great Migration, spotting wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Capture amazing photos of the open savannah and enjoy a stunning sunset over the plains. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Ndutu.

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu region in your safari jeep. Morning and afternoon game drives allow you to witness the Great Migration, including calves during the calving season, and observe predator-prey interactions. Relax at your lodge between drives, enjoying the peaceful scenery and abundant wildlife. This is one of Tanzania’s richest wildlife regions, offering excellent photography opportunities and memorable encounters. Overnight again in Ndutu.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, drive from Ndutu to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique ecosystems in Africa. Spend the morning on a game drive, spotting elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, and the rare black rhino. After the crater adventure, ascend and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 3-day fly-in safari.
