Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your guided city tour. Visit the Clock Tower area, local markets, and artisan workshops where you can see traditional crafts being made. Continue to the Tanzanite Museum to learn about Tanzania’s world-famous gemstone and its history. Along the way, experience Swahili culture through local neighborhoods and street life, with time to sample local food if desired. Optional visits to the Cultural Heritage Centre or Arusha Declaration Museum can be included. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in the afternoon.
