3-Day Semi-Luxury Safari Adventure from the Coast

Transfer to Tsavo East

You will depart early in the morning from the coast, either Mombasa or Diani, and drive inland towards Tsavo East National Park, a journey of approximately 4–5 hours with stops for refreshments and photos along the way. Upon arrival at Ashnil Aruba Camp, you will have lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. This is an ideal time to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and the park’s famous red soil landscapes. You may also visit notable sites such as Mudanda Rock or the Yatta Plateau if time allows. The day concludes with dinner and overnight at the camp.

Tsavo East Exploration

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full day of safari adventures. The morning game drive is a great opportunity to see predators and active wildlife in the cooler hours. You may also have the option of a guided walking safari if offered by the camp. Midday, you will return to Ashnil Aruba Camp for lunch and a chance to relax, perhaps by the pool. The afternoon drive will take you to other areas of the park, such as the Galana River, where hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife are often seen, as well as the Aruba Dam to observe elephants in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight at the camp complete the day, with an optional night game drive for nocturnal wildlife viewing if available.

Return back to the Coast

On your final day, you may enjoy an early morning game drive or sunrise photography session before breakfast. After checking out of the camp, you will begin the return journey to the coast, arriving by lunchtime or early afternoon. This allows you to relax after an exciting safari adventure and reflect on the incredible wildlife and landscapes you experienced over the past three days.
