Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Start your day with an early breakfast at your lodge, then our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha for an exciting journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the vast, open plains, dotted with wildlife, and the breathtaking skies that stretch endlessly above. The scenic drive takes roughly 7 hours, with occasional photo stops and short breaks to soak in the landscape.

Upon arrival at the camping site, you’ll settle in for a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds and beauty of the Serengeti, preparing you for the adventures that lie ahead in this legendary wildlife haven.

Following a morning game drive and a light lunch, your journey continues toward the stunning Ngorongoro area. Upon arrival, you will settle in for the night at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, perched on the crater rim, offering spectacular views. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the evening sky before resting for the night, surrounded by the serene beauty of one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you’ll head straight to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an exciting crater tour, where a packed picnic lunch will be provided. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife destinations, renowned for its rich biodiversity. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot the rare black rhinoceros and enjoy lunch near the hippo pool, offering a stunning view of the lake and the numerous hippos cooling off in the water.

Following the tour, you will begin the drive back to Arusha, which takes approximately three hours, with drop-off at the Jevas Hotel.

Materuni Waterfalls & Coffe Tour

After breakfast, your tour guide/driver will pick you up from the Jevas Hotel to begin a scenic journey to the waterfall. The route winds through valleys and hills blanketed in tropical rainforest, passing coffee, banana, avocado, and other local trees. You will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the Chagga community. Next, travel to Chemka Hot Springs, a bumpy, winding drive of over 40 minutes offering glimpses of authentic Tanzanian life along the way. At the hot springs, you can swim, relax, soak up the sun, and have lunch if you like, before returning to Arusha in the afternoon.
