Tarangire Wildlife Encounters and Karatu Retreat

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and varied landscapes. Game drives explore river areas and open spaces where animals gather throughout the day. Wildlife sightings often include elephants, giraffes, zebras, predators, and a wide range of birdlife. In the afternoon, continue to Karatu for overnight at Eileens Trees Inn, where the evening offers a relaxed atmosphere after a full day on safari.

This concentration of young animals draws predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, resulting in continuous wildlife activity. Early Ndutu Drama and Journey to the Highlands

An early morning game drive reveals Ndutu at its most active. Newborn calves take their first steps, herds shift across the plains, and predators take advantage of the morning hours. The open terrain allows extended viewing and natural wildlife behavior. After further exploration, the journey continues towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, where the landscape gradually changes. Overnight at Embalakai Ngorongoro offers a calm setting to reflect on the intense scenes experienced in Ndutu.

After ascending the crater rim, return to Arusha, concluding a safari defined by powerful wildlife moments and the unique rhythm of the calving season.
