After an early breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. The morning and afternoon game drives take you deep into the heart of the park, where the chances of spotting the Big Five are exceptionally high. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are often seen hunting or resting in the shade, while vast herds of wildebeest and zebras roam the plains. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the bush, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the wild surroundings. Between July and October, this day may include witnessing the dramatic wildebeest migration crossings at the Mara River. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact yet wildlife-rich reserve set against a backdrop of wooded hills and open grasslands. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive around the alkaline lake, famous for its seasonal flamingos that often paint the shoreline pink. Lake Nakuru is also one of Kenya’s best places to see both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.
