Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you will meet your safari guide at your hotel or lodge in Arusha for a short safari briefing, and you will be picked up and drive to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. This lovely park has the largest concentration of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National Park is packed with wildlife, including the big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, but also the seldom-seen kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as predators who prey upon them. After the game drive, you will head to the accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, where a delicious dinner and overnight stay await you.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we hit the road to experience the wonderful Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Africa. More precisely termed a caldera, this is the best place for game viewing in Tanzania. An enclosed ecosystem, the caldera is home to some 25,000 large mammals.
You will descend to the caldera floor, and we will pass through several different climatic zones until, 600 m down, we roam out onto the broad expanse. We can expect to see buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, reedbuck, and Thomson's gazelle. We may spot predators like lions and cheetahs lounging in the grass or in action, and some of the more than 500 bird species that inhabit this area
After our extensive game drive within the crater, we will drive towards the Serengeti National Park and head to our carefully selected, quality tented camp in Serengeti National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Today we will explore the Serengeti, the land of the Maasai, the community that has inhabited this area for millennia. The Serengeti is host to the world's last great terrestrial migration, that of the wildebeest and zebra.
On our Serengeti safari, we can hope to spot many creatures. We continue to explore the park after our picnic lunch, and our guide will, with his intimate knowledge of the terrain, bring us to some extraordinary landscapes where we will see abundant animals in their habitat.
As the adventurous day draws to a close, we make our way back to Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara, known for its namesake lake, which covers some 70 percent of the park area, is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Our game drive takes us to the lakeshore where, whilst viewing the thousands of feeding flamingos, we can hope to spot monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.
The park is known for its diverse landscapes, not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. Animals gather at the river, and giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest are often seen. The park is also home to buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest, all of whom are closely attended by a range of predators like Simba the lion king and his cousin, the leopard.
After lunch and an unforgettable game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, we head back to your hotel in Arusha or to JRO or Arusha Airport for departure.
