Your safari adventure begins in Maun, where you meet your professional guide before setting off in a specially equipped 4x4 safari vehicle. The journey to Khwai is already a safari, as you travel through the wildlife-rich Moremi Game Reserve, enjoying game viewing along the way and stopping for a relaxed picnic lunch in the bush.
By afternoon, you arrive in the Khwai Concession and settle into your wilderness camp. You’ll be accommodated in comfortable mid-range safari tents, each featuring an ensuite bush shower and private bush toilet, offering the ideal balance between comfort and authentic bush living. Later, head out on your first game drive, exploring riverbanks and floodplains as the sun sets. The day ends with dinner around the campfire beneath a star-filled African sky.
