Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive with a picnic lunch en route to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day tour. Descend 2,000 feet into this spectacular caldera in a 4x4 vehicle to explore its rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes before ascending to your lodge perched on the crater rim. Often called “Africa’s Eden” and the “8th Natural Wonder of the World,” the crater—formed 2.5 million years ago from a collapsed volcano—spans 22.5 km with 600-meter-high walls, housing around 30,000 animals and diverse birdlife sustained by year-round water.
