Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast. This morning, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a two-and-a-half-hour journey on good tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. Known for its large elephant herds, the park offers great opportunities to observe these magnificent animals congregating by the river. Additionally, you may encounter giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest, with various predators such as lions and leopards often in the vicinity.
Tarangire is also home to the highest diversity of bird species anywhere on the planet. You will find ancient baobab trees throughout the park, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated site inside the park.
After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park offering a unique blend of experiences. The park is both narrow (one of the smallest in Africa) and dramatic, with the towering Great Rift Escarpment forming a breathtaking backdrop to the landscape. The park’s namesake, a shallow salt lake, expands and contracts with the seasons, attracting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. You may encounter baboons and elephants in the lush evergreen forest, and keep your eyes peeled for the famous tree-climbing lions that have made this park legendary.
In addition to your game drive, you’ll enjoy a thrilling treetop walk in Lake Manyara National Park, taking in the stunning scenery and wildlife from a unique perspective.
After a full day of wildlife experiences, you’ll make the short drive to your accommodation in Karatu, ready to relax and reflect on an unforgettable day.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop and take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Following this, you will continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area until you reach the southern part of Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular, known for its vast open grasslands that provide excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings. While it is home to a wide variety of wildlife, it is especially famous for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may witness one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World, as vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope migrate in search of water and fresh grass.

After a picnic lunch, enjoy your final moments in this iconic wilderness before beginning your scenic transfer in the late afternoon toward Karatu. Arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

After breakfast, head to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for a rewarding game drive inside this breathtaking volcanic caldera. Descend to the crater floor and explore its diverse habitats, home to wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species, with a chance to spot the elusive black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by stunning scenery before continuing your wildlife viewing experience.
In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.
