1-Day Nairobi National Park Safari Joining Safari

The safari usually starts with an early morning pick-up (around 6:00 am) from your Nairobi hotel or an agreed meeting point. You are driven straight to Nairobi National Park, just a short distance from the city center, where entry formalities are completed before the game drive begins.

Once inside the park, you enjoy a guided game drive lasting about 4–5 hours. The park is home to lions, black rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife.

During the drive, the professional driver-guide makes several stops at wildlife hotspots and waterholes, sharing insights about the animals and the park. Morning hours offer the best chance to spot predators and active wildlife before the heat of the day.
For those with more time, the safari can be combined with optional visits to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, or Nairobi Safari Walk at an extra cost.
