Today, we recommend an early wake-up for a morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, and to witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises. Afterward, return to camp for a delicious brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.

Spanning 102 sq miles with 2,000-ft high walls, the crater is like a natural Noah’s Ark, home to nearly every East African species, including the rare black rhino. Its landscape features a river, swamps, a soda lake with flamingos, forests, and open plains. The crater is also renowned for its majestic elephants, the largest in the world with impressive tusks. You will arrive in time to enjoy a beautiful sundowner, surrounded by this extraordinary natural wonder.
