Nairobi - Maasai Mara national Reserve

You will be picked up early in the morning from the airport, your Nairobi hotel or residence and drive to the Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at a scenic viewpoint. Continue through Narok town before entering the reserve.

Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive en route to Muthu Keekorok Lodge, spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and elephants. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, head out for your first afternoon game drive, when animals are most active. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day in Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for a full day of game viewing with a packed lunch. Explore different areas of the Maasai Mara, including river crossings and open plains known for high predator activity.

The reserve is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and large herds of plains game. During the migration season, millions of wildebeest and zebras move through the area, attracting predators.

In the early afternoon, return to the camp for lunch and a bit of relaxation at the camp before heading out in the late afternoon for an exciting evening game drive where you'll get to observe nocturnal animals starting to come out to feed.

Return to the camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Mara – Morning & Evening Game Drives

Start the day with an optional early morning game drive, an excellent time to see predators after a night hunt. Return to camp for breakfast and leisure time.

After lunch, head out again for an evening game drive, focusing on areas not yet explored to increase wildlife sightings. Enjoy sunset views over the savannah before returning to camp for dinner.

Maasai Mara – Extended Safari Experience

Spend another full day in the Maasai Mara, allowing for flexible game drive schedules based on wildlife movement. You may also choose a visit to a traditional Maasai village and a guided walk to the Sand River Waterfall.

This extra day enhances your chances of rare sightings such as leopards in trees, cheetahs hunting, and large lion prides. Return to camp for your final night in the bush.
