Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe, travelling north through rural Uganda. Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary by late morning. Afternoon Rhino Tracking Experience. After lunch, head out on a guided walking safari with experienced rangers. Highlights. Track white rhinos on foot in the open savannah. Learn about rhino conservation and protection, Close, respectful encounters with rhinos, and excellent photography opportunities. Morning Journey. After breakfast, drive north to Murchison Falls National Park, entering via the southern gate. Visit the Top of Murchison Falls. Short guided walks to scenic viewpoints in the gorge. Witness the Nile thunder through a narrow 7-meter gorge. Afternoon Nile Boat Safari. Cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of the falls. Enjoy spectacular views of the falls from below and abundant birdlife. Evening Game Drive. After the boat safari, embark on an evening game drive in the park. Spot wildlife in the golden hours: lions, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kob, and more. Perfect for photography and experiencing the savannah at dusk. After you, return to your accommodation for the night.

Chimpanzee Tracking And Return to Kampala / Entebbe

Drive time: 5–6 hours

Chimpanzee Tracking Experience. After an early breakfast, head into Budongo Forest Reserve for chimpanzee tracking. What to Expect: Guided forest walk with expert trackers. Track habituated chimpanzee groups, and observe chimpanzees feeding, grooming, and calling. Learn about forest ecology and primate behaviour. Tracking can take 2–4 hours, depending on chimp movements. Return Journey to Kampala or Entebbe. After the trek, begin the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe with a lunch stopover en route. Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening.
