After breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, which will take approximately 5-6 hours by road. The drive will offer you scenic views of Uganda’s beautiful landscapes, including lush countryside, small villages and farms. Enjoy Breakfast and together with your guide, head out for an early morning game drive in the park to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, lions and a variety of antelopes. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake George to Lake Edward. After breakfast, head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a journey that takes around 4-5 hours. Bwindi is famous for its population of mountain gorillas, and it’s one of the top destinations for gorilla trekking in the world. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
In the evening, you can visit the Batwa community of Bwindi where you will get the chance to learn about their previous lives of living before the were displaced from the forest. You will also engage in entertainment as they show off their music and Unique dances. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest in preparation for the next day.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This day highlights your stay in Bwindi. Wake up early for your gorilla trekking adventure. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will be assigned to a group and begin trekking through the dense forest to find one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can last between 2 to 6 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll have up to one hour to observe these majestic creatures as they interact and go about their daily activities.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you have the option to take a nature walk or simply relax at your lodge, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the day.

Depending on your flight time, you may have time to visit some attractions, such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or take a walk along Lake Victoria, before heading to the airport for your flight home or onward travel.
