Day 2
Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, which will take approximately 5-6 hours by road. The drive will offer you scenic views of Uganda’s beautiful landscapes, including lush countryside, small villages and farms. Along the way, you will stop for breaks to stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings.
Once you arrive at Murchison Falls, you will check into your lodge, offering spectacular views of the park. After settling in, you can enjoy a short evening game drive to spot wildlife, including elephants, giraffes and buffaloes. Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy an evening game drive within Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring its open savannah plains and scenic landscapes. Bwindi is famous for its population of mountain gorillas, and it’s one of the top destinations for gorilla trekking in the world. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
In the evening, you can visit the Batwa community of Bwindi where you will get the chance to learn about their previous lives of living before the were displaced from the forest. You will also engage in entertainment as they show off their music and Unique dances. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest in preparation for the next day.

Day 7
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This day highlights your stay in Bwindi. Wake up early for your gorilla trekking adventure. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will be assigned to a group and begin trekking through the dense forest to find one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can last between 2 to 6 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll have up to one hour to observe these majestic creatures as they interact and go about their daily activities.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you have the option to take a nature walk or simply relax at your lodge, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the day.

On your final day, you will depart Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and drive back to Entebbe for your departure. The drive takes about 8-9 hours, so you will have some scenic stops along the way to stretch your legs and capture beautiful views of Uganda’s landscapes. Depending on your flight time, you may have time to visit some attractions, such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or take a walk along Lake Victoria, before heading to the airport for your flight home or onward travel.
