Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from the hotel at 7:00 am and depart for the Masai Mara. Stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpments for views and photography, then arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch, check in, and rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive until 6:30 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for an eight-hour game drive with a packed picnic lunch in hand. The reserve is famous for its black-maned lions and is one of the few places where you have a good chance of seeing the “Big Five” during an early morning drive. Many cheetahs are so accustomed to vehicles that they seek shelter from the hot sun under them, and some even climb onto the roofs to get a better view of potential prey. For bird enthusiasts, nearly 500 species have been recorded here, including 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four species of bustards, and nine species of sunbirds. You may choose to stay at the camp or lodge to enjoy its facilities, relax, or participate in only the morning and evening game drives. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a game drive as you exit the park by 10:00 am (the pop-up roof will be closed). Make your way to Nairobi, stopping en route for a hot lunch. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. This will conclude your safari.
