After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You are assigned a gorilla family and begin the trek through dense forest terrain, which can take between two and six hours. Once the gorillas are found, you spend up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge to rest and reflect on this unique experience.
