Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport by a Go Expeditions Africa representative and transferred to your accommodation at Outpost Lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Arusha is a lively hub of safari life in northern Tanzania, and most travelers pass through here before heading into the wild.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

Around 8:00 am, your Go Expeditions Africa driver will collect you from your hotel or the airport to begin your safari adventure. Departing Arusha, you’ll head to Tarangire for an exciting game drive. The park is famed for its elephants, as well as buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often followed by lions. Baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes create a stunning backdrop.

After a full day of wildlife viewing, you’ll retire for the night at Motto Cottage.
