A highlight is the boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls—witness pods of hippos wallowing in water, basking Nile crocodiles along muddy banks, and abundant birdlife such as African fish eagles and kingfishers[8]. For those seeking adventure and breathtaking vistas, hike up to view where the mighty Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge before plunging 43 meters below.

Rise early for a briefing at Kalinzu Forest Reserve headquarters before venturing into dense tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee families. Kalinzu is also home to other primates like black-and-white colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys.
In the afternoon, enjoy a spectacular boat cruise on Kazinga Channel—a 32 km natural waterway linking Lake Edward with Lake George. Continue onward past rolling hillsides into Bwindi Impenetrable NP—a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mountain gorillas.

Trekking can range from one hour up to several, depending on gorilla group location; the terrain is steep, but the rewards are immense—spending up to an hour observing a habituated family group as they feed, play, or rest within arm’s reach is among Africa’s most profound wildlife encounters.
After lunch, transfer southward past terraced hillsides toward picturesque Lake Bunyonyi—Uganda’s deepest lake, dotted with verdant islands. Enjoy activities such as birding watching or simply relax amid tranquil surroundings.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking Lake Bunyonyi before commencing your return journey northwards toward Entebbe. Along the way, pause at roadside markets or visit the Uganda Equator monument near Kayabwe—an iconic photo opportunity marking Earth’s hemispheric divide. Arrive back in Kampala and drop off in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. This marks the end of our tour.
