Murchison falls and rhino sanctuary

Start your journey early from Entebbe Airport, traveling northwest through lush countryside and small towns toward Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Kampala–Gulu highway with photo stops. Continue your drive into the park, where the landscape transforms into savannah dotted with acacia trees. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River, cruising upstream towards the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, spot hippos lounging in the water, crocodiles basking on the banks, elephants coming to drink, and colorful bird species like fish eagles. The cruise culminates at the thunderous falls where the Nile forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge, creating a stunning display of nature’s power. After the cruise, head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, resting up for the next day’s adventures.
