Day 2

You'll have a heavy breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by one of the park staff. Following the briefing, you will be assigned a guide who will lead you into the forest to begin your chimpanzee trekking experience. Kibale is renowned for its population of chimpanzees, and this trek offers a unique opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.
After a day of trekking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll check in at your accommodation and have lunch. Afterwards, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat safari. The Kazinga Channel is a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, which are both renowned for their rich diversity. During the boat safari, you can expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and numerous bird species, including African fish eagles and kingfishers. Proceed with an late afternoon game drive before you go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Isasha Sector

You'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, famously known for tree-climbing lions frequently seen in the area. The chance of spotting these lions stands at about 60-70%, but sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you get to spot them up in the tree, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic view of the highlands of the great Kigezi region. You'll arrive in the evening and then check into your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

You'll have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.
The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.

Thereafter Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing evening on a private island for an overnight and dinner.

Transfer to Entebbe

You'll have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation with a spectacular view of Lake Bunyonyi. Thereafter, you will embark on your return journey to be dropped off either at your desired hotel or airport. You can expect en-route stopovers for lunch along the iconic equator. You'll proceed with the journey, arriving in the evening for drop-off. This will mark the end of your amazing 5 days Gorillas, Chimpanzee and Wildlife Uganda Safari tour in Uganda.
