Mombasa to Tsavo East via Bachuma Gate
Pick up from your hotel in Mombasa at around 08:30 hrs and drive inland along the Mombasa–Nairobi Road toward Tsavo East National Park, a journey of approximately three hours. Enter the park through Bachuma Gate, where wildlife viewing begins across Tsavo’s open plains and seasonal riverbeds.
After a short highlight game drive, exit the park and proceed to Avid Hotel in Voi town, located a short drive from Voi Gate, for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, return to Tsavo East for a game drive, exploring the park’s vast savannahs and wildlife-rich areas, famous for red-dust elephants and large tuskers. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Voi at around 08:00 hrs and drive toward Amboseli National Park, arriving before midday. Check in at your lodge, enjoy lunch, and take time to relax.
In the afternoon, head out for a game drive focusing on Amboseli’s southern marshlands, where wildlife concentrations are highest. Expect excellent chances of seeing large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, and other plains game, often with Mount Kilimanjaro as a dramatic backdrop. Return to the lodge by evening.

Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli
Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli with a packed lunch. Explore the park’s diverse habitats, including swamps, open plains, and seasonal lake beds, maximizing wildlife encounters throughout the day.
Extended time in the park allows for relaxed exploration and excellent photographic opportunities, particularly around the marshlands where animals gather during the dry season. Return to the camp in the late afternoon or early evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli to Mombasa – Transfer Day
Amboseli to Mombasa – Transfer Day
After breakfast, check out and begin the drive back to Mombasa, with a lunch stop en route. Continue toward the coast and arrive in Mombasa in the late afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location in Mombasa, Nyali, Mtwapa or other locations in the northcoast.
