Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving south through scenic Maasai countryside dotted with traditional homesteads and open savannahs. Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park, you will enjoy a leisurely game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen roaming freely against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species thriving around the park’s swamps and wetlands.
After lunch and a short rest at the lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive when wildlife is most active. As the sun sets, the park offers stunning photographic moments, with Kilimanjaro often glowing in soft golden hues. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
