Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich parks. Tarangire is renowned for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse birdlife.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park’s savannah, river valleys, and seasonal swamps, where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts abundant wildlife and offers excellent photographic opportunities.

In the afternoon, you will stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your game drive. Later, you will transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Central Serengeti National Park for an exciting day of wildlife viewing. Upon arrival, enjoy game drives across the vast plains, famous for their incredible biodiversity and endless landscapes. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the park.

In the afternoon, continue with more game drive activities as you search for a wide variety of wildlife before heading to your camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

The Serengeti is world-renowned for its Great Migration, with massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes roaming the plains. Be prepared to encounter resident predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they play their vital role in the circle of life.

Get up early, enjoy breakfast, and drive to Northern Serengeti National Park. We will settle around the Mara River, where the great migration is happening. Our safari guide will find the best viewpoint to observe the event.

The great migration is the most significant herd movement of wildebeest, zebra, and other animals crossing the Mara River into Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. Migrating animals need to cross the crocodile-invested Mara River, this is where the action is! The best time to see the migration is between July and early October every year.

After breakfast, depart for Northern Serengeti, a prime area for witnessing the Great Migration, especially around the Mara River. Enjoy an exciting game drive as you track large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes, along with predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas that follow the migration.

Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive through the vast Serengeti plains. As the day progresses, you will gradually make your way toward Central Serengeti, known for its rich wildlife density supported by permanent water sources.

Arrive at Kontiki Camp in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the natural sounds of the African bush.

After an early breakfast at your camp in Central Serengeti, depart toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views of the highlands along the way. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enjoy a rewarding game drive on the crater floor, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and flamingos. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhinoceros. The crater’s unique ecosystem offers excellent wildlife viewing in a compact and dramatic setting.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable safari memories.
