Nairobi to mount Kenya

After breakfast in Nairob, you will be picked from your hotel or designated pick up location depart early and head north towards the Mount Kenya region, passing through scenic countryside and small towns such as Thika and Karatina. We make a short stop for refreshments and stretch our legs along the way.
Upon arrival in Naro Moru or Nanyuki, we check in at our budget accommodation and have time to rest and freshen up. After lunch, we enjoy a short nature walk or optional visit to a nearby attraction such as Naro Moru River or Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy (depending on your preference).
In the evening, we return to the lodge for dinner and an early night to prepare for the next day’s activities on Mount Kenya.

Mount Kenya activities

After an early breakfast, we set off for a full day of Mount Kenya exploration. Today is dedicated to enjoying the beauty of the mountain. Depending on your preference, you may choose a short trek, a nature walk, or a day trip to nearby attractions. Please note all treaking and nature walk activities on Mount Kenya are optional and available at an additional cost
option1: Day Trek (Naro Moru Route)
We drive to the Naro Moru Park Gate, complete entry formalities, and begin a moderate trek through the forest. The trail offers spectacular views of Mount Kenya’s slopes, indigenous forests, and wildlife. We return to the base camp in the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Option 2: Day Trip (Nanyuki / Sirimon Route)
We drive to the Sirimon Gate, where we enjoy a scenic day hike in the lower slopes. This route is perfect for those who want a short trek without camping. You will experience beautiful landscapes, forests, and stunning views of the mountain.

Mount Kenya to Nairobi

After an early breakfast at the lodge, guests check out and enjoy the cool morning views of Mount Kenya. Depending on time and interest, there is an option for a short nature walk around the lodge or a visit to a nearby curio shop to purchase local souvenirs.
We then depart the Mount Kenya region and begin our scenic drive back to Nairobi, passing through fertile farmlands and local towns along the way. A stop will be made en route for lunch at a local restaurant.
Upon arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon, guests are dropped off at their hotel or the airport, marking the end of the tour.
